For many years I knew you

I knew what you had done

I even brought others to you

I said you were the one

How did that knowledge pass me by?

And stay inside my head?

Until it travelled to my heart

And this is what you said

“You are my daughter”

Now I know you wholly

I know what you have done

I bring everything I have to you

I know you are the one
